Elle de Koning
Elle joined the Centre in December 2017. She graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws, majoring in Criminology. She undertook her Practical Legal Training through the College of Law whilst working in a mid-size general practice firm. Elle was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in October 2013. Elle worked in commercial practice and property law in her first year of practice, appearing in the various consumer dispute Tribunals and undertaking Magistrate’s Court civil Trials before moving to full-time in criminal law since 2014. Elle moved from the private sector to join the Mental Health Law Centre keen to assist those in need, and who suffer from a mental illness. She has a keen interest in social justice and law reform. She believes in giving all people access and understanding of the law and delivering the best possible service to her clients.
