Faith Cheok

Principal Legal Officer

Since her graduation from the National University of Singapore Law Faculty, Faith has accumulated a breadth of experience ranging from private legal practice (civil and insurance defence litigation), in-house legal and corporate secretarial practice (property development), and more recently, for the past eight years, in community law. Faith’s most recent experience was as an Acting Centre Manager and Principal Solicitor of Consumer Credit Legal Service (Western Australia) Inc.

For a period of six years Faith was also a volunteer board member on a number of independent private colleges. In that volunteer role, she offered her legal skills to assist the college boards in compliance, staff management and secretarial duties. In her role as Principal Legal Officer of Mental Health Law Centre, Faith expects to contribute to the Centre’s significant work by drawing on her accumulated experience. Faith very much looks forward to working collaboratively with the enthused, committed group of people who work within the mental health sphere.
