Marion Huntly

Senior Lawyer

Marion graduated from The University of Western Australia and was admitted to practice in December 2001. She was articled at Dwyer Durack Lawyers before moving to the Director of Public Prosecutions (Western Australia) in 2002, where she worked as a prosecutor for three years.

At the end of 2005 Marion commenced work for her first Community Legal Centre in Peel, as the inaugural Principal Solicitor. She went on to work for SCALES Community Legal Centre as a locum solicitor and coordinator for the Western Australian Lawyers Practice Manual. In 2008 Marion moved to Hobart with her family and was employed by Dobson Mitchell Allport Lawyers, primarily in their family law practice.

In 2009 Marion left the law to raise her son. During that time she also worked as the Freedom of Information Coordinator for two public hospitals. Marion joined the Centre in November 2014 and has a keen interest in social justice and helping people negotiate the complexities of the law.
