Robert Chasland

Robert joined the centre as a volunteer in October 2015. He graduated from Murdoch University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (History). Robert was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in November 2015.

Robert has experience in social justice and human rights, including working with the global human rights non government organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland and with the SCALES Legacy clinic which provides free assistance to asylum seekers seeking protection in Australia. Robert maintains a passion for helping those who are vulnerable and/ or lack the ability to properly access and understand their rights under the law. It is this client centred approach to legal matters that drives Robert to deliver a quality service.
