Seamus Murphy has been a member of the Board since October 2013. Seamus has a strong interest in Mental Health, Health, AOD Sectors and the impacts thereof. His passion is to bring energy, experience and enthusiasm to mental health participation in order to raise understanding and awareness of the lived experience. He holds Diplomas in Business Administration & Marketing; complimented by thirty-five years of business experience, including twenty-four years with three Crime Prevention/Community Safety Boards. Seamus has numerous appointments on Mental Health Committees, including, major hospitals and health services, WAPOL, Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Medicare Local Advisory Committee and the Peel Reference Group. Seamus has received recent training in Mental Health, including Drug and Alcohol training courses 2013-2015.
